He didn’t waste much time after that. Reese jumped right into professional baseball, startin’ with the minor leagues before finally gettin’ his shot in the Major Leagues. He spent time with teams like the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago White Sox, and the Boston Red Sox. Over the years, Reese’s been known for his good defense, catchin’ those pitches like nobody’s business. But, as it goes in the world of sports, sometimes things don’t go as planned.
Reese’s time with the Red Sox didn’t last long. The team, after bringin’ in some fresh faces, decided they didn’t need him no more. They made it official when they designated him for assignment—basically, told him to find somewhere else to play. I reckon it’s tough when that happens, especially after all the years of hard work.
