Well, howdy folks! If you’ve been waitin’ to hear about this new game called FragPunk, I reckon it’s high time I told ya all about it. This game’s comin’ out with a bang, I tell ya that. You know how there’s always a lot of fuss about new games, and most of ‘em end up disappointin’ ya? Well, this one’s different, I think. It’s called FragPunk, and folks, it’s a game where you gotta be fast, smart, and ready to kick some butt in a 5v5 hero shooter style. Sounds like fun, huh?
So, here’s the big news for all you folks out there who been lookin’ for somethin’ fresh. The Closed Beta Test (CBT) for FragPunk is gonna start on October 10, 2024. Yep, that’s right! A whole bunch of players will get a chance to try out the game before it officially comes out. Ain’t that somethin’?
Now, I ain’t no expert in all them fancy game terms, but from what I gather, FragPunk is a real fast-paced game. You’re gonna be in teams of 5, playin’ against each other, usin’ heroes with all kinds of special powers. Sounds like somethin’ that’ll keep ya on your toes! The good news is, this ain’t just some game you play for a few minutes and forget about. Oh no, FragPunk’s got a lotta depth to it. There’s these power-up cards, and each one changes the rules of the round. Kinda like how the weather can change real quick in the fall – one minute it’s sunny, the next minute it’s a storm. Every round’s gonna feel different, and that’s what makes it fun!
Now, the Closed Beta Test is gonna be available from October 10 to October 21, 2024. And guess what? It’ll be on both Steam and Xbox Series X|S, so you got a couple ways to play. Oh, and don’t worry about havin’ to stick with just folks playin’ on your same platform. This game’s got Crossplay! That means you’ll be able to play with folks on other consoles too. So, if you got some friends on different platforms, you ain’t gotta worry about that!
Y’all can even sign up for the beta now, if you ain’t already done so. It’s free-to-play, so it won’t cost ya a penny to try it out. Ain’t that sweet? I don’t know about you, but I’m always up for a good free game, especially when it’s somethin’ as fun-soundin’ as this.
But hold on, don’t be thinkin’ that this is all just some test and the game’s gonna disappear. Nope! FragPunk is set to officially launch in 2025 on both PC and Xbox. That’s right, you’ll be able to get the full version and really dive into all the action. So, you better be ready, ‘cause it’s comin’ for ya!
Now, I don’t know if you’ve seen the trailer for this game yet, but if you haven’t, I’d recommend takin’ a peek. It’s got all the stuff that makes a shooter game fun – lots of action, fast-paced fights, and heroes with cool powers. And with those power-up cards, it’s bound to keep ya guessin’ what’s comin’ next. I reckon it’s gonna be one of them games folks are talkin’ about for a while.
