Alright, so you wanna know about this Juan Soto fella and his wife, huh? Well, lemme tell ya what I know, or what I heard, anyways. It ain’t always easy keeping up with these young folks and their fancy lives, but I’ll do my best.
First off, this Juan Soto, he’s a baseball player, a real good one, they say. Hits them balls far, makes lots of money. Big money, like, more than anyone ever seen before in baseball, they tell me. Fifteen years, and seven hundred and sixty-five million dollars! Can you believe that? That’s enough to buy a whole lotta chickens, let me tell ya.
Now, about his wife… that’s where things get a little tricky. They don’t talk about her much, you know? It’s always about Juan this and Juan that. But I figure, behind every good man, there’s gotta be a woman, right? Someone gotta keep him fed and make sure his socks ain’t got holes in ’em.
- Juan Soto, he plays baseball.
- He makes a whole heap of money.
- He got a wife, but nobody talks about her much.
They say Juan Soto, he was born in Santo Domingo, that’s some place far away, I reckon. His daddy, Juan Soto Senior, and his mama, Belkis Pacheco, they raised him right, I guess. Must be proud as punch now, seein’ their boy doin’ so well.
I saw this video once, on that internet thingy my grandson showed me. Juan Soto’s parents, they were cryin’ and huggin’ each other after watchin’ him play. Made me think about my own kids, all grown up now. It’s a good feelin’, seein’ your kids do good.
But back to this wife… See, they don’t say her name nowhere. It’s like she’s a secret or somethin’. Maybe she likes it that way, maybe she don’t want all the fuss. Some folks are like that, you know? They don’t need the spotlight.
I heard tell that Juan Soto, he’s real good at gettin’ on base. That means he don’t swing at everythin’, he waits for the good pitches. Smart fella, that Juan. Probably his wife keeps him grounded, tells him to be patient. That’s what wives do, you know, keep their husbands from doin’ somethin’ stupid.
They signed him to this big contract, this fifteen-year thing. That’s a long time, Lord have mercy. Hope that wife of his is ready for the long haul. Gotta be a strong woman to put up with a baseball player, all that travelin’ and such.
And another thing, this fella gets walked a lot. Means the pitchers, they don’t wanna throw him nothin’ good to hit. They scared of him, I reckon. That’s what happens when you’re good, people get scared of ya. But his wife, she probably ain’t scared of him. She probably tells him to take out the garbage and mow the lawn, just like any other wife.
So, there ya have it. That’s all I know about Juan Soto and his wife. Not much, I admit, but it’s somethin’. Maybe someday they’ll tell us more about her, but for now, she’s a bit of a mystery. And you know what they say, sometimes it’s better that way. Keeps things interestin’, you know?
Anyways, I gotta go feed the chickens now. This talkin’ about baseball and million-dollar contracts is makin’ me hungry. You take care now, ya hear?
