Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this fella, LeBron, you know, the basketball player. Folks keep askin’, “How many gold medals does LeBron have?” It’s like they think I keep track of all this stuff! But I hear things, you know, sittin’ around, watchin’ the TV when the grandkids ain’t hoggin’ it.
So, from what I gather, this LeBron fella, he’s got himself three of them shiny gold medals. Yep, three! Won ’em playin’ for that Team USA. First one, they say, was way back in 2008, in that Beijing Olympics. Remember that? All them fancy fireworks and whatnot. They said he played real good that year, started every game and all. Scored a bunch of points, too, I reckon.

- And he got two more after that, though I can’t rightly recall the years. But three gold medals, that’s a whole lot, ain’t it? Makes you wonder where he keeps ’em all. Probably got a special shelf or somethin’, all shined up and pretty.
Now, some folks compare him to that Michael Jordan fella. They say Jordan only had two gold medals. LeBron’s got him beat there, I guess. But then there’s that swimmer, Michael Phelps, the one with the gills practically. Heard he’s got, like, a mountain of medals, most of ’em gold. Twenty-somethin’, they say. Can you imagine? Wouldn’t even know where to start countin’.
LeBron, though, he ain’t just about the gold medals, see. He’s got all sorts of other awards and trophies. NBA MVP, they call him, four times over. That’s gotta be somethin’ special, right? And he’s been an All-Star, like, a million times. Well, maybe not a million, but a whole bunch. Twenty times, they tell me. That’s a long time to be good at somethin’, I tell ya.
Seems like this LeBron fella started playin’ for Team USA way back in 2004, but he didn’t start no games that year. Just came off the bench, I guess. But then he got better and better, and by 2008, he was the star, leadin’ the team to victory. That’s what happens when you work hard, I always say. You stick with it, and good things happen.
Anyways, to get back to the point, this LeBron James fella has got three Olympic gold medals. That’s a fact. And he’s got a whole bunch of other stuff too. He’s a real good basketball player, that’s for sure. Even an old lady like me can see that. He runs fast, jumps high, and puts that ball right in the hoop. And he does it all with a smile on his face, most of the time. That’s important, you know. Gotta enjoy what you do.
So next time someone asks you, “how many gold medals does lebron have?” You can tell ’em, “He’s got three, you hear? Three shiny gold medals, and a whole lot more to boot!” And then you can tell ‘em about all them other awards he’s got, if you can remember ‘em all. Me, I just stick to the gold medals. Three is a good number. Easy to remember, even for an old lady like me.
This man, he really made a name for himself, and that’s why people keep on asking about how many gold medals Lebron has. It’s the same thing when you have a good harvest. People keep on asking you how you did it. It’s because you’re good at what you do.
Now, that’s enough talk about basketball for one day. My bones are achin’, and I need to go make myself a cup of tea. But you remember what I told you, alright? Three gold medals. LeBron James. He’s a winner, that one.
