Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s gab a bit about them birdies at the 2023 PGA Championship. You know, them fellas with their fancy sticks hittin’ that little white ball.
So, I hear tell there was a whole lotta birdies flyin’ around that golf course. Not the feathery kind, mind you, but the kind them golfers make when they get that ball in the hole in fewer tries than they’s supposed to. 2023 PGA Championship Birdies, that’s what we’re talkin’ about!
Now, they say them 156 players, they made over 1111 birdies durin’ the whole week. That’s a heck of a lot of birdies, ain’t it? I can’t even count that high without takin’ off my shoes! Makes you wonder how many worms they’d catch if they was real birds.
- Birdies in 2023: Over 1111, that’s what they say. Sounds like a whole flock to me!
- Birdies Per Round (Top Players): Them good fellas, they make about 4 or 5 birdies every time they play a round. That’s pretty darn good, I reckon.
- Best Player Average: The best of the bunch, they get even more, maybe 5 birdies a round. Must be some kinda magic in them sticks of theirs.
- Average Tour Player: Your regular golfer fella, he makes a birdie about 15 to 25 times outta 100 holes. Still better than me tryin’ to swat a fly with a broom.
I heard tell of a fella named Smith, he made four birdies in just five holes! That’s like findin’ four eggs in the hen house all in a row. And then there’s that Koepka fella, he made three birdies in a row on the front nine. Musta been feelin’ as lucky as a hog in mud.
They say Eric Cole fella had the most birdies in 2022 and 2023. Guess he’s the birdie king or somethin’. I reckon he could teach them real birdies a thing or two about flyin’ around that course. Most Birdies 2022-2023, that’s somethin’ to brag about, I s’pose.
Now, I don’t know much about golf, but I know a good thing when I see it. And all them birdies sound like a good thing to me. It means them fellas are playin’ good, and that’s all that matters, right? Whether it’s a little white ball or a bunch of cluckin’ chickens, gettin’ where you need to go is the name of the game.
And talkin’ ’bout them other years, seems like them top players been makin’ about the same number of birdies each round. Around 4 or 5, they say. Consistent fellas, I guess. Like my old rooster, always crowin’ at the same time every mornin’.
So, there you have it. A whole heap of birdies at the 2023 PGA Championship. More than I can count, that’s for sure. And if you ask me, that’s somethin’ to crow about. Just like my old rooster. PGA Championship Birdie Count, that’s the story, plain and simple. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed them chickens. They ain’t makin’ no birdies, but they sure are makin’ a lot of noise!
And remember, whether it’s golf or life, keep your eye on the ball, or the chicken, whichever the case may be, and try to make as many birdies as you can. That’s my advice for ya, and it’s free of charge! Though, a cup of coffee wouldn’t hurt none. Hehe!
Anyways, them fellas with their fancy swingin’ and whatnot, they sure do make a lot of birdies. I heard some big wig company even keeps track of all them birdies, real-time like. Fancy that! Must be important to somebody. Me? I’m just happy if I can find all my eggs in the mornin’.
So next time you’re watchin’ them fellas on the TV, smackin’ that little ball, remember them birdies. They’re a sign of good playin’, just like a full basket of eggs is a sign of a good hen. And that’s all there is to it, folks. Nothin’ more, nothin’ less.
