Well, let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Cody Detwiler. Folks online, they call him WhistlinDiesel. Now, I ain’t too good with this internet stuff, but even I heard about him. This boy, he’s somethin’ else.
Cody Detwiler, that’s his real name, you know. Born way back in 1998, July 18th to be exact, down in Indiana. That makes him a Cancer, whatever that means. Kids these days with their stars and signs, I tell ya.
He got himself a YouTube channel, started it back in 2015. WhistlinDiesel, that’s what he calls it. And let me tell you, a whole bunch of people watch him. Millions and millions! I heard they sayin’ he got more’n six and a half million folks followin’ him. That’s a whole lotta eyeballs, ain’t it?
- They say he gets millions of views on his videos, sometimes just a day or two after he puts ’em up.
- He’s makin’ a good livin’ too, from what I hear. They say he’s makin’ thousands, maybe even millions, of dollars a year from that YouTube thing. Good for him, I guess. Workin’ hard, that boy is.
- And he ain’t just makin’ videos. He’s sellin’ stuff too. Shirts, hats, all sorts of things. Even got a shirt for a thousand dollars! Can you believe that? A thousand dollars for a shirt! Must be some fancy thread.
Now, what does this Cody do in his videos, you ask? Well, he messes with trucks and cars, big ones too. He does all sorts of crazy stuff. I saw one where he was movin’ mountains, makin’ a whole lake! Can you imagine that? Movin’ mountains! That boy’s got more energy than a flea on a hot skillet.
He grew up around them big machines, you know. Tractors, trucks, all that heavy-duty stuff. So, he knows what he’s doin’, I guess. At least, he seems to know. Sometimes I watch and I think, “That boy’s gonna get himself hurt!” But he always seems to come out alright.
He’s got this truck, calls it MonsterMax. A real monster truck, that is. Big wheels, loud engine, the whole shebang. He does all sorts of stunts with it. Jumps, smashes, all kinds of craziness. Folks seem to like it though. They watch him, they cheer him on.
This Cody, he ain’t afraid to get his hands dirty. He’s always buildin’ somethin’, breakin’ somethin’, fixin’ somethin’. And he films it all, puts it up on that YouTube for the whole world to see. He’s even got a Facebook page, with more than a million fans, I heard. That’s a lot of folks likin’ what he does.
He’s become real popular, you know. He signed with some big company, CAA, they call it. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds important. They probably help him with all that business stuff, the money and the contracts and all that. This boy ain’t just playin’ with trucks, he’s runnin’ a whole business.
They say he’s known for his DIY stuff, stunts, and vlogs. That’s what they call it, “vlogs.” Sounds fancy, but it just means he’s talkin’ to the camera, tellin’ folks what he’s doin’. And people watch him! Millions of them. It just goes to show you, people will watch just about anything these days, won’t they?
He’s famous for doin’ jaw-droppin’ stuff, they say, sometimes even a little controversial. I reckon that means some folks don’t like what he does, but most folks, they seem to love it. He’s always pushin’ the limits, tryin’ somethin’ new, somethin’ bigger, somethin’ louder.
So, that’s the story of Cody Detwiler, or WhistlinDiesel, as the young folks call him. A young fella from Indiana, who loves trucks and ain’t afraid to get a little crazy. He’s made himself a name, and a good livin’, by doin’ what he loves. And that’s more than a lot of folks can say, ain’t it?
