I learned that CJ Stroud is a big shot in the NFL draft. His mom’s name is Kimberley, I found that too. It’s all over the internet if you look it up. And his dad’s name is Coleridge.
They talked a bit about their family background. Apparently, CJ’s dad got into some trouble and ended up in prison. It was a whole thing with carjacking, kidnapping, and a bunch of other charges. He got sentenced to 38 years, which is a long time.
Because of that, CJ’s mom, Kimberley, pretty much raised him and his siblings on her own. I can only imagine how tough that must have been. She used to be an athlete, a track and field champ, believe it or not.
