Okay, so I wanted to look at some stats from the Knicks vs. 76ers game. You know, see how the players did, who scored what, all that jazz. It wasn’t super straightforward, but here’s how I went about it.
First off, I gotta say, I’m no pro at this. I just wanted to try and grab some info from the game. So, I started by searching for “knicks vs 76ers player stats” online. It was a lot, a whole bunch of websites popping up, some were about bats and baseball, some was for software, one was about quizlet, and one was about some game mod. I mean, it was a mess!
I clicked on a few, and they had some info, but it wasn’t really what I was looking for. I wanted something simple, like a table or something. Something easy to read. So, after digging around for what felt like forever, I started to think about how to organize the stats, like a table with player names, points, rebounds, you know, the usual stuff. I even thought about putting it in a spreadsheet to make it look nice and neat.
But then, I had this idea. What if I just took notes? Like, simple notes. I could write down each player’s name and their key stats next to it. That seemed way easier than trying to make a fancy table right then. I started doing that, jotting down names and numbers as I found them.
It took some time, hopping between different websites, trying to find all the info I wanted. Some sites had points but no assists, others had rebounds but not minutes played. It was a bit of a scavenger hunt, to be honest. After some time, I went to the flashcards for something simple, long-standing traits, and so on.
Here’s how my notes ended up looking:
- Knicks:
- Player A – 25 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists
- Player B – 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists
- Player C – 15 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists
- …and so on for the rest of the Knicks players.
- 76ers:
- Player X – 30 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists
- Player Y – 22 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists
- Player Z – 12 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist
- …and so on for the rest of the 76ers players.
It wasn’t perfect, but it was something. I had a basic overview of how each player did in the game. And you know what? It was kind of fun, in a weird way. Like being a sports reporter or something, haha. In the end, I was like, forget about the online accounting. And I had a record of the player stats from the Knicks vs. 76ers game. It wasn’t pretty, but it worked. Maybe next time, I’ll try that spreadsheet idea. Or maybe I’ll just stick to my trusty notepad.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure in the world of basketball stats. Hope you found it somewhat interesting. And hey, if you ever need someone to dig up some game stats, you know who to call. Just kidding… unless?
