Okay, let me tell you about what I did today. I was messing around with this “Wuthering Waves” thing, trying to figure out how to make a cool banner.
First, I spent some time just looking at the game, you know, getting a feel for the style and the vibe. I noticed it’s got this kind of dark and moody atmosphere, with lots of, like, swirling energy and stuff. I wanted my banner to capture that.
Then, I started playing around with some images. I found a few that I liked, pictures of characters and some of the scenery from the game. I used this free online tool to remove the background. It is not perfect, but at least it is free. Then I put all the images I need into one canvas.
After that, I started messing with the colors and the layout. I tried a bunch of different combinations, moving things around, changing the sizes, all that jazz. It took a while, but eventually, I found something that I thought looked pretty good.
I added some text, too. Just the name of the game, “Wuthering Waves,” and the version number, “1.1”. I played around with different fonts and colors until I found something that fit the overall aesthetic.
Here’s a little breakdown of what I did:
- Gathered some images from the game.
- Used an online tool to remove the backgrounds.
- Combined the character and scenery images into one canvas.
- Played with colors and layout until I was happy.
- Added text – game title and version number.
- Tweaked the font and colors of the text.
The Final Touches
Finally, I added a few special effects. I wanted to give it that signature “Wuthering Waves” look, so I added some, like, swirling energy effects and some subtle lighting changes. It really made the whole thing pop, you know?
Oh and I found that it seems like the next banners for Wuthering Waves 2.1 will introduce someone called Phoebe and Brant. Also, version 1.3 is gonna be between September 29, 2024 – October 24, sounds like fun!
And that’s pretty much it! It was a fun little project. I’m not a professional designer or anything, but I think the banner turned out pretty good. It was cool to mess around and see what I could come up with. Maybe I’ll try making some more in the future.
