Okay, so I’ve been playing Honkai: Star Rail for a while now, and let me tell you, those redeem codes are a lifesaver! I mean, who doesn’t love free stuff, right? So, I thought I’d share my little routine for grabbing those codes and getting those sweet, sweet rewards.
First thing I do is keep my eyes peeled for new codes. I noticed them popping up in all sorts of places. Sometimes I find them during the live streams, other times in those update notice thingies. Heck, I even saw one hidden in a random social media post once! So, you gotta be vigilant, you know?
Once I spot a code, I note it down immediately. I used to just try to memorize them, but that didn’t always go well. Let’s just say I missed out on a few goodies because my brain decided to take a vacation. So yeah, I write it down somewhere – usually just a quick note on my phone.
Then comes the fun part – redeeming the code! There are two ways to do this. You can do it in-game, which is what I usually do ’cause it’s just easier for me. I just pop open the game, tap on my phone icon in the top left corner to get to my profile, and then look for the “…” icon on the right side of the screen, next to my namecard. I tap on that, and bam, there’s a button that says “Redemption Code”. I tap that, paste or type in the code, and hit confirm.

- Tap the phone icon in the top left.
- Tap the “…” icon next to my namecard.
- Tap “Redemption Code”.
- Enter the code.
- Hit confirm.
Or, sometimes, when I’m feeling particularly lazy, I’ll use the website. It’s pretty straightforward. I go to the official site, log in with my HoYoverse account, and select my server. I make sure I pick the right one or it doesn’t work. Then I just paste the code into the redemption box, click redeem, and that’s it. Done and done.
In-game Claim
After redeeming, I go back into the game. I open up my in-game mailbox and there it is – a lovely little message with my rewards! I click “Claim” and watch all those Stellar Jades, Credits, and other goodies get added to my account. It’s like a mini Christmas every time!
Honestly, it’s a pretty simple process, but it makes a big difference, especially when you’re trying to save up for that special character or Light Cone. So, yeah, that’s my little code redemption routine. Hope it helps some of you out there!
