Okay, so I’ve been hyped about this new game, “Zenless Zone Zero”, or “zzz” as people call it. I heard it was coming out soon, and I really wanted to be one of the first to jump in.
I started by scouring the internet to find the exact release time. It wasn’t super clear at first, but I finally found an announcement. They said it would be released on July 4th at 10 a.m., but that was in UTC+8 time. I’m on the US East Coast, so I had to figure out what that meant for me.
After a bit of Googling and messing around with time zone converters, I figured out that 10 a.m. UTC+8 is actually 10 p.m. ET the previous day, so on July 3rd. That was a nice surprise! I got to play it a bit earlier than I initially thought.
- Double-check the time zone conversion – Just to be absolutely sure, I checked a couple of different sources. Didn’t want to miss the launch!
- Pre-download the game – Luckily, they let people pre-download the game. I immediately found where to download it and started that going.
- Set an alarm – I set an alarm for, like, 9:55 p.m. on July 3rd. I wanted to be ready to go right when it launched.
- Wait impatiently – This was the hardest part, hah!
My Plan:
When the time finally came, I was ready! The game launched, and I was able to dive right in. It felt great to be one of the first playing.
So, that’s my story of how I figured out the “zzz” release time and got to play it right at launch. It was a bit of work figuring out the time zones, but totally worth it in the end!
