Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this whole Dak Prescott playoff record thing. You know, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback? It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, let me tell you.
First off, I started by just watching some Cowboys games. I mean, who doesn’t love some good football, right? But I quickly realized that just watching wasn’t enough. I needed to get into the nitty-gritty details.
So, I dove into the internet. I started looking up all sorts of stats, you know, wins, losses, touchdowns, interceptions, the whole shebang. I spent hours going through game summaries, reading articles, and even watching old game footage.
Getting Organized
It was a mess at first. I had all this info, but it was all over the place. So, I decided to get organized. I made a spreadsheet, because who doesn’t love a good spreadsheet? I started logging every playoff game Dak has played in, who the opponent was, the final score, and all his key stats.
Then, I started to see some trends and I wrote some of my thoughts.
- 2016 Season: Rookie year. They lost to the Packers. Dak played pretty well, but it wasn’t enough. Tough loss.
- 2018 Season: They beat the Seahawks, which was cool, but then lost to the Rams. Progress, but still not there.
- 2021 Season: Lost to the 49ers. That one stung. Dak had a good game, that was tough.
- 2022 Season: They beat Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. A win against a legend like that feels good. Then came another game against the 49ers, another close loss.
- 2023 Season: That loss against the Packers, who would have thought?
After putting all this together, I feel like, overall, Dak’s playoff record isn’t that bad. He’s had some tough losses, for sure, but he’s also had some big wins. I think there’s more good to come, as long as I can keep on top of it and keep tracking how he does. I have a good feeling about this, folks! I’ll keep you all posted, of course.
