Okay, so I was flipping through channels the other day, and I stumbled upon some old TNA Wrestling footage. And guess who popped up on the screen? AJ Styles. Man, that took me back.
I started digging around online, trying to find more about AJ’s time in TNA. It’s crazy to think about how long he was there and how much he did. It’s like, he practically built that place!
I watched a bunch of his old matches. First, I pulled up that one match he had with Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels. What a crazy match, three guys just going all out. That was the first time TNA really felt big time.
- Then I found his matches against Kurt Angle. Those were something else. Two of the best ever, just putting on clinics.
- And remember his feud with Sting? That was epic! They really knew how to tell a story in the ring.
The Phenomenal One
I got so sucked in, I spent hours just watching old TNA stuff. I even started looking up old pay-per-view posters and stuff. It’s wild to see how much the company changed over the years, but AJ was always right there in the middle of it. He was the “Phenomenal One,” no doubt.
It made me think about how much wrestling has changed. There was a time when TNA was the other option for wrestlers, and AJ was the heart and soul of it. Those were the days.
Finally, I ended up ordering some old TNA DVDs online. I know, I know, DVDs are ancient, but I wanted to have some of those classic matches on hand. I’m planning a little TNA marathon this weekend, just to relive those glory days.
It’s funny how a random channel flip can send you down a total rabbit hole. But it was a fun trip down memory lane. AJ Styles in TNA… those were some good times.
