Okay, so today I messed around with this thing called “Tye Dillinger.” I’d heard some buzz about it, so I figured, why not give it a shot? Here’s how it went down.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to actually get this thing on my machine. I followed some basic install instructions, it felt like it was nothing * was pretty straightforward, just your usual download-and-install type deal.
Trying it out
Once I had it installed, I opened up a simple project, just a basic application. It’s that had some basic CRUD stuff. I opened a terminal and, used a command to get the ball rolling.
Boom! All of a sudden, all these services were spinning up. I mean, the project has three services in it, so seeing Tye get them going was actually pretty cool.
Now, I’m not gonna lie, I was looking at it and it felt pretty good, so, I used it to start and stop, it was fun to play around. I guess it’s pretty handy for local development. I did try and do some debugging, and felt it was fairly intuitive, but I didn’t spend to much time on it
Wrapping Up
So, that was my quick dive into “Tye Dillinger.” It seems like a neat tool for getting a bunch of services up and running quickly, at least locally. Might be worth checking out if you’re into that sort of thing.
