Okay, so the other day I was watching a Yankees game, and Aaron Judge absolutely crushed a home run. Like, this thing was a monster shot. It got me thinking, “This guy is just built different.” Then, for some reason, the random thought popped into my head: “I wonder if Aaron Judge is adopted?” I have no idea why, it just came to me. So, naturally, I grabbed my phone and started googling.

First, I just typed in “is Aaron Judge adopted”. I figured that would be the quickest way to find out, right?
Digging a Little Deeper
The initial search results were pretty straightforward. I saw a bunch of articles about his parents, Patty and Wayne Judge. But nothing really jumped out at me in the headlines, so I started clicking on a few.
I scrolled through a couple of sports blog posts, and then I found a more in-depth article,I landed on some biography pages and news articles. And that’s where I hit paydirt!
- I quickly learned that, yes, Aaron Judge is adopted.
- Apparently, he was adopted the day after he was born by Patty and Wayne.
- It mentioned that his parents were both teachers, which I thought was pretty cool.
Putting it All Together
It was actually pretty interesting to read about his upbringing. The articles talked about how supportive his parents were of his athletic * seemed like they were always there for him, from Little League all the way to the majors.
So, yeah, that’s the whole story. Just a random thought that led me down a mini-research rabbit hole. I started with a simple question, did some googling, and ended up learning something new. Turns out, one of the biggest stars in baseball has a pretty interesting backstory. Who knew?
