Alright, alright, let’s talk about this young fella, this Alcaraz. Folks keep jabberin’ on ’bout who his girlfriend is, like it’s the most important thing in the world. You know, back in my day, we didn’t have all this internet fuss. You liked a fella, you liked a fella. No need for everyone and their chickens to know about it.

Now, they say he’s got a lot of money, this Alcaraz kid. Millions, they say! Can you imagine? All that money from hittin’ a little ball over a net. Good for him, I guess. He won a bunch of tournaments, and they give him big money for it. Must be nice.

That’s what everyone wants to know, ain’t it? Nosy folks! They keep sayin’ different names. This Maria Gonzalez Gimenez girl, they mention her a lot. Says she’s from the same town as him, in Spain, some place called Murcia. She’s a tennis player too, and a smart one, got a law degree, they say. But then you hear he’s single, so who knows what’s true?

- And some just like to gossip, I reckon.
This Alcaraz, he’s a private fella, they say. Doesn’t like everyone pokin’ their noses into his business. And you know what? I don’t blame him one bit. These young folks these days, they put everything on that internet thing, and then they complain when people know too much. Can’t have it both ways, I always say.
They even say he liked some girl’s picture on that Instagram thing, and that made people go crazy. Like, who cares if he liked a picture? Maybe he just thought it was a nice picture. People read too much into things, if you ask me. He’s got a new coach too, Samuel Lopez his name is. Folks are always talkin’ about who’s around him, what he’s doin’. Give the boy some space, I say.

Well, I ain’t got no crystal ball, so I can’t tell you for sure. But from what I gather, this Alcaraz fella is a good tennis player, makes a lot of money, and keeps his personal life pretty close to the vest. Whether he’s got a girlfriend or not, that’s his business, not mine, and not yours neither. He’s young, he’s successful, let him live his life. That’s what I say. And honestly, all this fuss over a young man’s love life… it’s just a whole lot of nothin’ if you ask me. They ought to be focusing on his tennis game, that’s what he’s known for, ain’t it?
In the end, it don’t matter much who he’s courtin’. What matters is he’s a good player and he seems like a decent young man. Let’s leave it at that, shall we?
This world is too busy with other people’s worries instead of minding their own garden, that’s for sure. If he plays tennis good, then good for him, if not he better find himself a real job like the rest of us used to do!
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about this Alcaraz fella and his supposed girlfriend. More important things to worry about in this world, like the price of eggs and whether it’s gonna rain on my wash day.
