Okay, so, let me tell you about this whole Alexis Laree thing I got into. I’d heard the name a few times, right? It kept popping up, especially since I’m kind of into the whole wrestling scene. So I thought, “Alright, let’s dive in and see what the hype is about.”

First, I started just poking around, you know, the usual stuff. I hit up some wrestling forums and fan pages. And man, there’s a lot of chatter. I saw a video of her, Alexis Laree, wrestling with some guy called Julio Dinero versus another called Jeff Jarrett. This was in a NWA-TNA PPV, I think it was number 41. I watched it and got pumped up. The moves, the intensity, it was pretty cool to watch.
And then I started to dig deeper into who she was. Turns out, she went by a different name later on, Mickie James. I started finding all these articles and interviews. There was one where she was talking about someone named Charlotte, who is apparently a big shot in WWE. She was praising Charlotte, and I thought it was cool how she was being positive about someone in the same industry as her.
- I found this other thing, it was kind of like a slideshow. You could go back and forth with the arrow keys, and use the spacebar to start and stop. Pretty basic, but it had a bunch of pictures of her, which was neat.
- Then I stumbled upon this post that said something like, “Alexis Laree is still inside of her. And you really don’t want to unleash her.” That got me thinking, like, maybe there’s this whole other side to her that’s really intense. It got me even more curious!
I kept digging and found out she joined WWE in 2005, but they changed her name to Mickie James. She started out as a “fan” in the crowd, which I thought was a pretty cool way to start. It’s like, she worked her way up from the bottom, you know?
I also found something that asked, could she be tag partners with someone named Asuka? They were talking about some WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Honestly, I’m not super up-to-date on all the tag teams and stuff, but it sounded like a big deal. I kept it in mind and continued.
So yeah, that’s basically how I got into this whole Alexis Laree/Mickie James rabbit hole. It started with just a name I kept seeing, and then I just went deeper and deeper. It was a fun little adventure. I love doing this, finding something that interests me and just exploring it until I’ve had my fill. And now I’ve got a whole new wrestler to follow, which is pretty awesome.
