Okay, so today I’m gonna break down how I tackled finding Cor Lapis locations. It was a grind, not gonna lie, but totally worth it. Let’s dive in!

First things first, I knew I needed a ton of Cor Lapis. Why? Ascensions, duh! So, I started by just wandering around Liyue. Big mistake. I was running in circles, finding like, two nodes every hour. Total waste of time.
Step 1: Research! I hopped online and started searching. Found a bunch of maps and guides. Some were okay, some were totally outdated. The interactive map sites were the real MVP here. I used one where people could add locations, and it seemed pretty up-to-date.
Step 2: Plan of Attack. I zoomed in on the map, looking for clusters of Cor Lapis. Areas like Mt. Hulao and around Guyun Stone Forest seemed promising. I marked those on my in-game map.
Step 3: The Route. I planned a route that hit all the major clusters. Started at Mt. Hulao, then moved south towards Mingyun Village, then east towards Guyun Stone Forest. Tried to optimize it, minimizing travel time.
Step 4: Gear Up! This is important. Make sure you have a character that can break rocks easily. I used Zhongli for his E skill. Made things way faster. Also, bring a stamina food buff. Climbing all those cliffs eats stamina like crazy.
Step 5: The Grind. This is where the real work began. I followed my route, hitting every Cor Lapis node I could find. I used the interactive map to mark nodes as I collected them. This helped me keep track of where I’d already been. If you can, co-op. It makes it easier to grab it all, but if you are like me, you just want to do it yourself!
Step 6: World Refresh. Cor Lapis respawns after a couple of days. So after hitting all the locations, I waited. Then, I did the whole thing again! Also, hit up your buddies’ worlds! They may not care and you can just clean up.
Here’s the kicker: Sometimes, the interactive map was wrong. A node wouldn’t be there, or it would be in a slightly different spot. That’s why it’s good to explore a bit. Also, keep an eye out for those sneaky nodes hidden behind rocks or inside caves.

What I Learned:
- Don’t waste time wandering aimlessly. Plan your route!
- Use an interactive map, but don’t rely on it completely.
- Bring a rock-breaking character and stamina food.
- Be patient. It’s a grind, but you’ll get there.
Overall, it took me a few days to gather enough Cor Lapis for my ascensions. But now I know all the best locations, and the next time I need some, I’ll be ready. Happy hunting!
