Alright, so I wanted to tweak the FPS in Apex Legends ’cause, you know, sometimes you just gotta mess with those settings. I play through Origin, so this is how I did it, specifically for Origin users.

First, I opened up my Origin game library – you know, where all your games are listed. Then, I found Apex Legends and right-clicked on it. A menu popped up, and I clicked on “Game Properties”.
This opened a new window, and I saw a tab called “Advanced Launch Options”. I clicked on that.
There’s a box there labeled “Command Line Arguments”. It’s kinda like a secret code area where you can tell the game to do extra stuff when it starts. I typed in “+fps_max” followed by the FPS number I wanted. For example “+fps_max 120”.
Important Note
- Make sure set your desird number, or you could set it to “0”, that will make your fps unlimited.
After that,I clicked “Save” (don’t forget that part!) and launched the game. Boom! FPS capped to whatever number I put in.
It’s pretty simple, once you know where to look. Just remember, this only works if you’re launching Apex through Origin. Hope this helps you out!
