Alright, so the other day I was diving back into Ark, specifically on the Fjordur map. Man, it’s been a while, but this map is huge! I’m talking 140 square kilometers of new biomes and stuff to find. It was kinda overwhelming at first, so I figured I needed a solid resource map to not get totally lost and to find all the good stuff efficiently.
I started by looking up an interactive resource map for Fjordur. There’s a ton of info out there about what you can find, but I wanted something I could easily check while playing. I found a few that were pretty good—they break down where all the nodes are, for things like metal, crystal, and all that jazz. Super useful.
After spending some time marking up my map, I felt way more prepared. I planned out some routes to hit up the important spots. First, I made a trip to gather some basic stuff like wood and stone—easy peasy. Then I started exploring further out to find the locations for the rarer resources.
- Metal: Found some killer spots in the mountains. Gotta be careful though, lots of dangerous dinos up there.
- Crystal: There are some caves that are just loaded with it. Also, some of the higher peaks have a good amount.
- Obsidian: This one was a bit trickier, but I found a decent supply near some of the volcanic areas.
With the resource map helping me out, I was able to gather materials way faster than I would have otherwise. I even managed to build a pretty sweet base in a spot with easy access to a bunch of different resources. It’s nothing too fancy yet, but it’s got all the essentials.
Getting My Gear Game On Point
The next thing was gearing up. With my resource game on point, I could craft some decent armor and weapons. This made exploring even further a lot safer. I found myself getting into some pretty epic fights, but with my new gear, I came out on top most of the time. Felt pretty good, not gonna lie.
So yeah, getting that resource map for Ark Fjordur was a total game-changer for me. It made everything so much more manageable and fun. If you’re playing on Fjordur, I highly recommend finding a good map. It’ll save you a ton of time and headaches. And hey, you might even enjoy the exploration more when you’re not constantly worried about running out of supplies or getting lost. Happy gaming!
