Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with some football data, specifically looking at “benfica vs” something. I didn’t have a specific opponent in mind, I just wanted to see what I could find and play with.
Digging for Data
First things first, I needed some data. I started by just searching “benfica vs” on the web. Nothing special there.
I started browsing, trying to get a feel for recent games, scores, maybe some player stats. Basically, I looked around for anything to grab and work with.
Playing with the Results
After gathering some data, I started to organize my data, making sure to collect some data point that is important to me.

- Final Score (Benfica goals – Opponent goals)

It’s not super fancy, but it gave me some basic info to look at.
