Well, let me tell ya ’bout them Cavs, you know, the basketball fellas from Cleveland. They been playin’ some good ball lately, real good.
Cavs Score Big, Real Big! I heard on the radio, they been winnin’ a bunch. Folks say they beat them Warriors fellas, you know, the ones from Golden State? Beat ’em by a whole lot, like 136 to 117 or somethin’. That Mitchell fella, he’s a real firecracker, scorin’ all them points. Heard he got 39 one game, then 40 the next! Land sakes, that’s a lot of points, ain’t it?
Them other fellas, they helpin’ out too. That Mobley boy, he’s tall as a beanpole, gettin’ his points too, like 17 or so. They say these Cavs fellas, they shoot the ball real good, better than anyone else in the league. They makin’ more than half their shots, which is somethin’, I tell ya. And them three-pointers, the ones from way out yonder? They makin’ a whole bunch of them too.

Now, I don’t know much about all this fancy basketball stuff, but I know winnin’ is good. And these Cavs, they been winnin’ a lot. They even beat them Celtics fellas in one game, took the lead right before halftime. Folks say they won 10 games in a row against some teams. That’s a streak longer than my garden hose, I tell ya!
This team, they somethin’ special, you know? Reminds me a bit of when that LeBron fella was playin’ there. He was somethin’ else, that LeBron. This Mitchell fella, he ain’t quite LeBron yet, but he’s playin’ real good, real good. And that Kyrie fella, the one they picked first overall a long time ago, he was good too, won all sorts of awards. This team, they tryin’ to make folks proud like them fellas did. They even sayin’ the owner, that Gilbert fella, he wants to bring them women’s basketball players, the WNBA, back to Cleveland. That’d be somethin’ else, wouldn’t it?
So, that’s the story on them Cavs. They winnin’, they scorin’ a bunch, and they got folks in Cleveland all excited. Makes ya wanna slap your knee and holler, don’t it? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits. Don’t want ’em burnin’ while I’m talkin’ ’bout basketball.
More on them Cavs Scores and Such. Seems like every time I turn on that radio, them fellas are winnin’ again. They got that fella, what’s his name, Atkinson, coachin’ ’em up real good. He must be tellin’ ’em somethin’ right, ’cause they playin’ like a well-oiled machine. You know, like my old tractor, chuggin’ along but gettin’ the job done.
They say the Cavs got a real good offense, meanin’ they score a lot of points. And that’s what wins games, ain’t it? Scorin’ more points than the other fellas. It ain’t rocket science, that’s for sure. You put that ball in the hoop more times, you win. Simple as that.
They got a long season ahead of ’em, these Cavs, but they startin’ off strong. Makes ya wonder if they can keep it up. Folks in Cleveland, they hopin’ so. They been waitin’ for a good team for a while now. And this team, this might just be the one. They got that young fella, Mitchell, and that tall Mobley fella, and a whole bunch of other fellas playin’ their hearts out. It’s excitin’ to watch, even for an old gal like me.
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about them Cavs for now. Just remember, they winnin’, they scorin’, and they makin’ folks proud. And that’s a good thing, a real good thing.
