Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Rory McIlroy’s major performances, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey! I started by simply watching a bunch of highlight reels – you know, those YouTube compilations that make everything look easy. It got me curious about his overall record, so I wanted to dig deeper.

My Research Process Begins
First, I needed all of his major results, so I opened up a new spreadsheet. I use Google sheets, that’s very * I went to search some of his data. I listed out all the majors: Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open, and The Open Championship.I carefully inputted Rory’s finish in each major, for every year he’s played. It was really time-consuming at the begining!
But just having the data wasn’t enough. I needed to see it visually. So I started playing around with different charts. I made a line graph showing his performance over time in each major. That really helped me see the ups and downs, the near misses, and those glorious wins.
Analyzing the Data
- I noticed some interesting patterns, some trends.
- I spent hours just staring at the numbers and the charts, trying to make sense of it all.
- I even printed out some of the key charts so I could scribble notes on them. Old school, I know, but it helps me think!
I feel I have learned a lot!I started this whole thing just wanting to appreciate Rory’s major career a bit more. Now, I feel like I’ve got a whole new level of understanding. I can see the details!
