Well now, you askin’ how old Sketch is? Well, depends on which Sketch you’re talkin’ about. If you mean them fancy markers they used to sell in stores, well, them Mr. Sketch markers been around since 1965. Yep, I remember seein’ them in the stores when I was a young gal, and them colors sure did brighten up the place, especially when I had the kids around, drawin’ all sorts of things. Them markers been popular with the little ones for many years, and still are. I reckon them markers must be older than some of the folks around here by now!
But if you mean that feller, the one who calls himself Sketch on the internet, well, that’s a whole other story. His name’s Kylie Cox, born somewhere around 1998 or 1999—now, that’s a youngin’. He’s an American Twitch streamer and a YouTuber. He started his online career back in 2014, so by now he’s been around for a good few years. That’s when he began streamin’ on Twitch, playin’ all them video games. He also became known for his catchphrase, “What’s up, brother?” which sure did catch on like wildfire, especially on them TikTok videos, where folks love to copy and share anything that’s popular.
Kylie, or Sketch as he’s known online, hails from Dallas, Texas, though these days he’s livin’ over in Houston. I hear he even supports them Houston Texans, the football team. You know, these young folks today, they sure do know how to keep themselves busy, always doin’ somethin’ new. On top of all his gaming and online videos, he even took part in a charity soccer match in 2024. Now, I don’t know about you, but that shows he’s got a good heart, helpin’ out where he can.
Now, if you ask me, Kylie ain’t gettin’ any younger, but he sure still got that energy, playin’ games and doin’ all them streams. So, in a nutshell, Kylie Cox, known online as Sketch, is around 25 or 26 years old, dependin’ on when you count his birthday. I reckon that’s a good age to be, ain’t too old, but ain’t too young either. And he’s still goin’ strong with his streaming career.
So, whether you’re talkin’ about them colorful markers from back in the day, or this young man runnin’ around on the internet, Sketch has been around for quite a while. I’d say they’re both pretty well-loved in their own way, each bringin’ joy to different folks—one through drawin’ and the other through games and videos. It’s funny how things change but stay the same, ain’t it?
