So, I got curious today about where Rickie Fowler stands in the golf world right now. You know, you see these guys playing, and you wonder how they’re actually doing overall. It feels like he’s been around a while, had some ups and downs.

My Process: Finding Fowler’s Spot
First thing I did, naturally, was hop on my computer. Opened up my usual search engine. I typed in something simple like “Rickie Fowler current golf ranking”. Pretty straightforward.
Got a bunch of results back, as you’d expect. Some sports news sites talking about recent tournaments, some fan pages maybe. I usually try to go straight to the source if I can, so I looked for the official golf tour sites.
I headed over to the main tour’s website. You know the one. Had to poke around a bit. Sometimes these sites have so much stuff – news, videos, stats everywhere. I looked for a menu item like “Stats” or “Rankings”. Found it after a minute.
Under rankings, there were a few different lists. I wanted the main world ranking, the OWGR, that’s the big one everyone talks about. Scrolled down that list, looking for ‘Fowler’.
- Opened the search engine.
- Typed in my search query.
- Clicked on what looked like the official tour site link from the results.
- Navigated through their menu to the rankings section, usually under ‘Stats’ or ‘Players’.
- Found the Official World Golf Ranking list they publish.
- Scanned the list, or sometimes used a search bar on the page if they have one, for Rickie’s name.
And there he was. Took a few seconds to spot him in the list. Okay, so I saw his current number. It wasn’t super high up like his peak years, maybe not top 10 or anything right now, but definitely still respectable, you know? Let’s say, somewhere solidly within the top 50 when I checked. Good to see he’s still holding his own.
It wasn’t too hard, honestly. The official sites usually have this info pretty clearly laid out once you find the right section. Sometimes I also check the FedExCup standings while I’m there, just to see how the season points are looking, gives you a different perspective.
Anyway, that was my little mission for the morning. Got the info I wanted. Always interesting to keep tabs on these players and see where they officially stack up.
