So, yeah, I’ve been all about wrestling lately, and I had to share this whole thing with Dakota Kai. It’s been a wild ride, honestly.
It all started back in April 2022. I was following her matches, and then bam, she got released from her WWE contract. I was like, “What? No way!” She even said she wasn’t gonna renew her contract. Classic, right?
Then, things got worse.
She got attacked by Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville, and Zoey Stark, which messed up her knee bad – a torn meniscus. The docs said she’d be out for like 9-10 weeks. Surgery and all that, man, it was rough. I really felt for her; I mean, getting sidelined like that is every wrestler’s nightmare.
- First, the contract stuff.
- Then, that brutal attack.
- And now, surgery and recovery.
I kept checking for updates, hoping she’d bounce back. The waiting was killing me. There was buzz from PWInsider Elite, saying it would be a while before she returned.
During her recovery, she still made some appearances, which was cool, but it wasn’t the same as seeing her in the ring. We are talking about a torn ACL here, which happened back in May 2023.
And then, the big news dropped.
Dakota Kai made her comeback on RAW! I was so hyped, watching her show up during an interview with IYO SKY and Kairi Sane. It felt like forever, but she was finally back.
My reaction?
I was ecstatic, obviously. Seeing her return, I knew Damage CTRL was about to level up. She mentioned having big plans, and I’m here for it. It’s gonna be awesome to see what she does next and how she shakes things up in the women’s division. She is really back in action.
Seriously, this whole journey with Dakota Kai has been a rollercoaster. From the shock of her release to the injury and now her epic comeback, I’ve been glued to every update. And I know I’m not the only one. Wrestling fans everywhere are pumped to see her back and ready to take on whatever comes next.
I just wanted to share my experience with you guys. It’s been a crazy ride following Dakota Kai, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
