Okay, so today I messed around with something called “derek shelton”. Gotta be honest, I didn’t really know what I was getting into at first, but hey, that’s half the fun, right?

I started by just, you know, Googling the name. Saw a bunch of stuff pop up – LinkedIn profiles, some articles, maybe a video or two. Seemed like a pretty accomplished dude, this Derek Shelton.
Digging a Little Deeper
Figured I’d try to narrow it down. Was I looking for info on baseball? Business? What was the context here? Turns out, I was probably most interested in the baseball manager Derek Shelton, you know with Pittsburgh Pirates.
So, I started clicking around on some articles about him. Read about his career path, how he worked his way up through the minor leagues, his coaching style, that kind of stuff.
- Found some interviews he did.
- Watched a few game highlights where they mentioned him.
- Learned he’s known for being pretty data-driven, which is interesting.
Honestly, it was kind of a rabbit hole. One article led to another, and before I knew it, I’d spent a good chunk of time just reading about this guy’s life and career. I kinda of feel I know the guy, LOL.
It wasn’t some super structured project or anything, more like a casual exploration. But I definitely learned a few things, and it was cool to just follow my curiosity and see where it took me. That’s my little adventure with “derek shelton” for today!
