Recently, I had some free time on my hands, so I decided to do some research about this guy named Dylan Harper. I read that he’s been doing pretty well at Rutgers.
So, I started digging around. First, I found out that this dude is a big deal in basketball. I saw some numbers like “24 points” in one game and “8 out of 18” shots. Sounds like he knows how to put the ball in the basket. Then I checked his assist and turnover, that is important for a guard, right?
Then, I learned that people are already talking about him for the 2025 NBA Draft, along with some other guy named Cooper Flagg. I guess these two are like the top dogs in their class. From what I read, it seems like Dylan is super talented and can do a lot of different things on the court.
I also found out that he had a really good high school career at Don Bosco Prep, where he was averaging 23 points per game. That’s a lot of points! Plus, he was ranked as the number 2 player in his high school class, so he’s not just some random guy.
Then I took a look at some analysis of his game. They say he’s good at controlling the pace of the game, both by scoring and setting up his teammates. I guess that means he’s a smart player who knows how to make the right decisions. And there are some stats from the Nike EYBL and the U19 World Cup, where he had way more assists than turnovers. 5.3 assists to 2.1 turnovers per game and 3 assists to 0.4 turnovers per game are pretty impressive.
I also checked out his personal life. Turns out his dad, Ron Harper, played in the NBA for 15 years and won 5 championships. And his mom, Maria, is from Bataan. I guess basketball runs in the family!
Here’s what I gathered about Dylan Harper:
- He’s a rising star in basketball.
- He’s been playing great at Rutgers.
- He’s a top prospect for the 2025 NBA Draft.
- He had a standout high school career.
- He’s good at scoring and playmaking.
- He has a strong basketball pedigree.
After going through all this, I realized that Dylan Harper is a name to watch out for. He seems like he has all the tools to be a great player. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on him in the future, I hope he can live up to the hype!
