Okay, so I spent a good chunk of my playtime today messing around in the Tiger’s Maw Mine area. It’s a pretty interesting spot, lots of ups and downs, nooks and crannies. While I was there, I figured, why not try and hunt down all those little Resonance Beacons? You know the ones, those humming cube things.
Starting the Hunt in the Mine
So, I started my sweep. First thing I usually do is just run around the main paths, keeping an ear out for that distinct humming sound they make. It helps a lot. I found the first couple pretty easily this way. One was just sitting near some mining equipment, plain as day. Another was tucked behind a big pile of rocks near one of the entrances.
Getting into the Details
After the obvious ones, it got a bit trickier. Tiger’s Maw Mine has a lot of verticality, which means looking up and down is key. I remember spotting one way up high on a metal structure. Had to do some climbing and gliding to reach that sucker. Took me a few tries not to fall off, honestly.
Then there was another one that was sort of hidden inside a semi-broken mine cart. Almost missed it because I wasn’t looking inside things initially. You really gotta poke around everywhere.
- Checked high ledges and structures.
- Looked behind rocks and equipment.
- Peaked inside containers or broken stuff.
- Listened carefully for the hum.
The Last Few Beacons
I spent a fair bit of time running back and forth trying to find the last one or two. You know how it is, you think you’ve checked everywhere. I was getting a little frustrated, circling the same areas. I even climbed to the highest points to get a better view, hoping to spot that tell-tale glow.
Eventually, I found one hiding underneath a wooden platform. Had to crouch down and really look under there to see it. Sneaky placement!
Finishing Up
The very last one? Turned out it was near one of the water pools in the lower sections of the mine, partially obscured by some glowing flora. The sound cue was faint there because of the water sounds, I think. But, persistence paid off. Got that final chime notification that I’d found them all in the area.
Felt pretty good to clear the map marker for those beacons in Tiger’s Maw Mine. Took a bit of running around, but wasn’t too bad once I started looking in the less obvious spots. Onto the next area, I guess!
