Okay, so I wanted to figure out the pecking order for the Florida State football team. You know, who’s starting, who’s backing them up, all that good stuff. So I went on a hunt for their “depth chart.”

Digging for the Info
First, I just started with a simple search. Typed in “Florida State football depth chart” and hoped for the best. I got a bunch of results, some were news articles, others were from fan forums.
I clicked around a few of those news articles. I skimmed through, trying to find something that looked official. News sites can be okay, but sometimes they’re just guessing or reporting on rumors.
- Checked out some fan forums.
- Sometimes fans are super plugged in and have good info, but sometimes… well, you know how fans can be.
Putting it Together
Based on my gathering, I started writing the player’s name down. I used my notebook.
- The First one is quarterback, I wrote Jordan Travis.
- Then, I added Tate Rodemaker as a backup.
- I did it to other positions.
Double-Checking
I always figure it’s good to check with other people if it is correct what I have written down, I will do the asking, and then fix, finalize and ensure the information.
It’s not rocket science, but it takes a little digging to get a good sense of who’s playing where for Florida State. It’s always changing a bit, too, with injuries and guys stepping up, so it is fun to explore!
