Man, keeping track of the Genshin Impact banners is a real doozy. I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss out on any cool characters, so I decided to figure out the whole banner schedule thing.

First, I started scouring the internet. I mean, I typed “Genshin Impact banner schedule” into the search bar and just started clicking on anything that looked relevant.
- Looked through some official-looking sites, you know, the ones that have all those fancy graphics and stuff.
- Read through forum posts. Found a few where people were talking about banner predictions.
- Also checked out some wiki pages that seemed pretty detailed.
After digging around, I started to see some patterns. It looks like each update, like this new 5.3 version, has these “phases.” They usually have two phases. Like, in this case, 5.3 Phase 1 will release Mavuika and Citlali, and Phase 2 will be Chronicled Wish and Lan Yan. And the banners seem to stick around for a few weeks each.
I also noticed that they sometimes bring back older characters. Like in version 3.7, they brought back Yoimiya and Yae Miko. And it also said that Kirara was in both Yoimiya and Yae Miko’s banners during the Phase 1.
Then, I tried to find out when the next big update, version 4.8, is coming out. Looks like it’s supposed to drop on July 17, 2024. And people are saying that version 5.0, with this new Natlan thing, might be coming around August 28.
So, I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen, and I started jotting down all the dates and names. I made a little chart to keep track of when each character’s banner is supposed to be active.
Now, I’ve got this whole schedule mapped out. It’s not perfect, and things might change, but at least I have a better idea of when to save up my Primogems for the characters I really want.
It was a bit of a hassle, but hey, now I’m ready to roll! Or, well, ready to wish, I guess!
