So, I was watching the Celtics game the other night. You know, the finals and all that. Pretty intense stuff. But something else kept catching my eye, or maybe I should say someone.

Jayson Tatum’s son, Deuce. Little guy’s everywhere, right? Sitting courtside, running around during warmups, giving his dad high-fives. It kinda struck me how visible he is, always there with the team.
It got me thinking, or maybe just observing more closely. I actually started making a point to spot him during the broadcasts. Where is he sitting? What’s he doing? It became a little side-game for me while watching the main action.
Then I got curious, you know? Like, how old is he now? He seems like he’s been around forever. So, during a commercial break, I pulled out my phone. Didn’t do a deep dive, just some quick searching.
My Quick Look-Up Process
Here’s basically what I did:
- Typed in something simple like “Jayson Tatum son age” or just “Deuce Tatum”.
- Scrolled through the first few results, mostly news snippets and fan pages.
- Looked at some pictures and video thumbnails that popped up. Lots of him in Celtics gear, obviously.
- Saw bits about him being born back in 2017. Man, time flies.
Didn’t spend ages on it, just satisfied that quick curiosity. But it led me down a short rabbit hole, watching a couple of clips. You see him interacting with other players, always looking happy to be there. It’s clear he’s part of the whole Celtics family vibe.
It’s just funny how things change. Back in my day, kids were mostly kept separate from the workplace, you know? Especially a high-pressure job like pro sports. Now? This kid’s practically a mascot, part of his dad’s whole public image. Totally different world.
I found myself just watching those clips for a bit, seeing him grow up over the last few years through these little snippets online. It’s kinda wild. You see the pressure Tatum’s under, then you see him interacting with his son, all smiles. It’s a cool dynamic, gotta admit.
Anyway, that was my little detour during the game. Started with just noticing the kid courtside, ended up doing a quick search and reflecting on how public family life has become for these athletes. Just an observation from my end while kicking back and watching some basketball.
