So, the question popped into my head this morning while I was having my coffee: is Scottie Scheffler playing Saturday? You know how it is, weekend’s coming up, wanted to see if there’d be some good golf to watch.

My first instinct was just to grab my phone. It’s usually the quickest way, right? I opened up my usual sports app, the one I glance at for scores. Scrolled through the golf section. Sometimes they put the big names right up top, but nothing immediately jumped out about his Saturday status specifically. Lots about the tournament in general, leaderboard stuff, but not a clear ‘yes’ or ‘no’ for Scheffler playing tomorrow.
Okay, plan B. I figured the official PGA Tour site would have the definite answer. Opened up my web browser, typed that in. Navigated over to the tournament page for this week – gotta find the right event first. Then I started looking for the tee times. That’s usually the giveaway. If a player has a tee time listed for Saturday, well, then they’re playing.
Finding the Tee Times
Took a minute to find the right section. They sometimes bury it under ‘Pairings’ or ‘Schedule’. Found it. Scanned down the list for Saturday’s times.
- Looked through the morning times.
- Scanned the afternoon pairings.
And there he was. Scottie Scheffler, listed with a specific tee time for Saturday. So, yeah, confirmation. He made the cut, obviously, and he’s scheduled to play.
Simple process really, just took a couple of tries. Glad I checked. Now I know I can tune in tomorrow and see how he does. Always enjoy watching that guy swing a club. It just looks so smooth, doesn’t it? Anyway, mystery solved.
