I gotta tell y’all about what I went through today trying to figure out if Curry was gonna play tonight. It was a whole thing, let me start from the beginning.
So, first thing this morning, I was hyped for the Warriors game. I went straight to check the game schedule, ’cause you never know with these back-to-back games. I was like, “Is Steph Curry playing tonight or what?”
I started looking around, and man, it was a mess. Some places said he’s out, some said he might play. I saw this one bit that said he’s “out against the Clippers due to bilateral knee injury management.” I was like, “Bilateral what now?” That’s just a fancy way of saying both his knees need a break, I guess.
- Checked the injury report – saw Curry’s name there. Bummer.
- Read that Draymond Green is also out. Double bummer.
- Found out Gary Payton II is on the inactive list too. What’s going on with the Warriors?
Then I dug a little deeper. Apparently, this means Curry’s probably gonna play against the Suns on Saturday. They’re just giving him a rest today. Makes sense, gotta keep the star player fresh, right?
I also saw some talk about Curry’s shooting slump. I mean, even the best have their off days. It’s all good, he’ll bounce back. Remember that game where he scored 38 points? The guy’s a legend.
It’s not just about Curry though. I saw that they’re shifting the starting five, putting Gary Payton II alongside Curry. That could be interesting. New strategies, new dynamics, you know?
Putting it all together
So, after all this digging, here’s the deal: Curry’s not playing tonight. He’s resting those knees. But he should be back for the Suns game. They’re probably just being careful, which is smart. It was kind of a let down but hey, health comes first. And at least we got something to look forward to this weekend, right?
I just wanted to share my little adventure of figuring this out. It’s always a rollercoaster with these things, but that’s what makes it fun, I guess. Now we wait for Saturday!
