Okay, let’s talk about Naomi in WWE. I gotta say, I’ve been watching wrestling for a while now, and this lady? She’s got something special. So, I decided to really pay attention to her matches and see what all the fuss was about. I started by watching some of her older stuff, you know, back when she was part of the Funkadactyls.
Man, that brought back memories! It was fun to see her evolution. She was always a good dancer, but her wrestling skills? She really put in the work, you could see it. I continued watching her matches moving forward, going through her time on SmackDown, her tag team runs, the whole deal.
The Glow Up
I was really hooked when she started doing the whole “Feel the Glow” thing. That entrance? Iconic. I mean, the lights, the energy, she just owned it. I even tried to replicate the entrance once…didn’t go well. Let’s just say I tripped over the cat and leave it at that.
What I really appreciate about Naomi is her athleticism. She’s doing moves you don’t see every day. She’s fast, she’s flexible, and she’s not afraid to take risks. I remember watching her do that split-legged moonsault and I was like, “How is that even possible?” I tried practicing that one too. Pulled a hamstring. Don’t try that at home, kids.
- The Rear View: Always a crowd-pleaser. Simple but effective.
- That headscissors takedown she does: It’s so smooth.
- The way she uses the ropes: She’s like a spider monkey up there.
I kept watching, match after match. I noticed her getting better and better. Her matches with the likes of Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Bayley were amazing. I was on the edge of my seat, yelling at the TV like a crazy person. My neighbors probably think I’m nuts.
And then she won the SmackDown Women’s Championship! Twice! I was so happy for her. She deserved it. All that hard work paid off. I was celebrating like I had won the title myself. It was a great moment to witness as a fan.
She’s had her ups and downs, like any wrestler. Some storylines I liked, some I didn’t. But through it all, she’s always been entertaining. I watched her go through different phases, try new things, and grow as a performer. It was a great journey to follow.
Now, she’s doing her thing in other promotions, and you know what? I’m still following her. I’ll watch her matches, see what she’s up to, and root for her. Because that’s what you do when you appreciate someone’s talent and dedication. I’m excited to see what she does next. Maybe I’ll try to learn another one of her moves. But this time, I’ll stretch first.
