Okay, so the other day I was watching this documentary about baseball, and the name Jackie Robinson came up. I knew he was a big deal, you know, breaking the color barrier and all that, but I got curious about his personal life. So, I decided to find out: did Jackie Robinson have kids?
First thing I did? I fired up my trusty old computer. Seriously, this thing is ancient, but it gets the job done. Anyway, I opened up my browser.
Then, I typed “did Jackie Robinson have kids” into the search bar. So simple, right? Just straight to the point.
The search results popped up, and bam! There was a ton of information. I scrolled through a few of the pages, mostly those biography websites.
What I Found Out
- Jackie Robinson married Rachel Isum in 1946.
- They had three children together.
- Their first child, Jackie Robinson Jr., was born in 1946.
- Their second child,Sharon Robinson,was born in 1950.
- Their third child,David Robinson,was born in 1952.
So, yeah, Jackie Robinson definitely had kids! Three of them, in fact. It was cool to learn a little bit more about him, not just as a baseball legend, but as a family man, too.
