From what I gather, this Jersey Jerry, his real name is somethin’ like Gerard Gilfone, or somethin’ like that. Sounds like one of them fancy names, you know? He wasn’t always famous on the internet, no sir. He used to be a pipe-fitter, workin’ with pipes and stuff. A regular Joe, just like you and me…well, maybe not just like me, I ain’t never fit no pipes. He likes them Pittsburgh Steelers, the football team, ya know, the ones with the black and yellow. Good team, I hear. Always been a fan of good ol’ hard workin’ fellas myself.

He’s one of them internet personality fellas, I guess. Seems like people like watchin’ him, so good for him, I say. Hard work pays off, even if it’s just talkin’ on that there internet.
That Golf Thing
And then there’s this golf thing. I heard he played golf, not real golf, but on one of them computer things, a simulator, they call it. He played for a long, long time, more than 36 hours! Can you imagine? And he hit that ball more than 2,600 times! My goodness, my hands would be sore just thinkin’ about it. And people watched him, like 90,000 of ’em! That’s a whole lotta folks watchin’ someone play golf on a computer. I tell ya, the world’s gone crazy.
Other Stuff He Does
He also goes on these podcasts, which is like a radio show, but on the internet. He was on one with some fellas, Dave Portnoy, Kirk Minihane, and Ryan Whitney, that hockey fella. They talked and talked, I guess. Sounded like a lot of chatter to me. But that’s how they do things on the internet these days.
So what to make of this Jersey Jerry?
Well, seems to me he’s a regular fella who made somethin’ of himself on that there internet. He works hard, plays golf on the computer, and talks a lot. People seem to like him. He’s like them fellas on the TV, but on the computer. And he’s got that funny name, Jersey Jerry. Makes him sound like he’s from somewhere, you know? Like he’s one of us, even though he’s doin’ all that fancy stuff on the internet.
