Alright, so today I’m gonna ramble on about something I was messing with earlier – Julia Edey’s height. Yeah, sounds random, I know, but bear with me.
It all started because I was watching some old figure skating videos, and Julia Edey popped up. I remembered her being a pretty good skater back in the day, and for some reason, my brain just went, “I wonder how tall she is?” Don’t judge, we all have those moments.
So, the first thing I did, naturally, was Google it. Just typed in “Julia Edey height.” Easy peasy, right? Well, not really. I got a bunch of different answers. Some sites said one thing, others said another. Classic internet!
I even started digging through some old figure skating forums, thinking maybe some hardcore fan would know for sure. Found a few mentions of her height, but nothing consistent. It was all over the place.
Then I remembered something – her old coach! I found an interview with him online, and he briefly mentioned something about having to adjust her training because she hit a growth spurt. Ding ding ding! This could be useful.
So, I started searching for more articles, interviews, anything that might give me a clue about when that growth spurt happened. Piecing together bits and pieces from different sources, I figured it was probably around 2006 or 2007.
Armed with that info, I went back to searching for her height, specifically looking for anything dated before or after that period. And finally, I found a couple of reliable sources that seemed to agree she was around 5’2″ (157 cm). I guess that’s my best guess, unless Julia Edey herself pops up to correct me!
In the end, it was a silly little quest, but it was kinda fun. You know, digging around, piecing together info like some kind of internet detective. Plus, I learned a bit more about Julia Edey and her skating career in the process.
