Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Karl-Anthony Towns fella and his girlfriend. Folks keep askin’ me, “Who’s that boy with the basketball courtin’?” Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t easy keepin’ track of these young’uns and their romances these days. But I heard some things, ya know, from the TV and such.
So, this Karl fella, big ol’ basketball player, he’s got himself a girlfriend, a pretty little thing, they say. Name’s Jordyn Woods, somethin’ like that. Now, they been knowin’ each other a good long while, years apparently. Friends first, like them kids do. Met through a friend, ya know, how it always goes.
But it wasn’t always lovey-dovey, no sir. They was just friends, shootin’ the breeze, I reckon. Then, somethin’ happened. Bam! Cupid’s arrow struck, I guess. Folks are sayin’ it was around May of 2020, that’s when things got serious. Springtime love, makes sense, like when them flowers start bloomin’.
Now, I don’t know all the details, mind you. These young’uns, they keep their business hush-hush. But from what I gather, they pretty cozy now. See pictures of ‘em together, lookin’ happy as clams. He’s a tall one, that Karl, and she’s a looker, that Jordyn. Makes a fine pair, if you ask me.

It ain’t clear exactly when they first bumped into each other, these stories always a bit fuzzy. But that friend they had, well, that friend brought ‘em together. Years later, boom, love bloomed. Like I said, springtime, May 2020. That’s when they became a “couple,” as they say. These young’uns and their fancy words.
Karl, he’s on the TV playin’ that basketball. Runs up and down the court, throws the ball in the hoop. Earns a pretty penny, I’d bet. And Jordyn, well, she’s on the TV too sometimes. Pretty girl, like I said. They both got them fancy phones, always takin’ pictures and puttin’ ‘em on the internet. That’s how I see ‘em, sometimes when the grandkids come over and show me.
They been together a while now, seems like. Through thick and thin, I guess. That’s how it should be, if you ask me. Find a good one, stick with ‘em. Love ain’t easy, ya know. Takes work, takes patience, takes a whole lotta understandin’. Hope they got that, them two.
I see these young folks sometimes, always in a hurry, always chasin’ after somethin’. But love, well, love ain’t somethin’ you can chase. It’s somethin’ you gotta nurture, gotta grow. Like a garden, ya see. Gotta water it, gotta weed it, gotta give it sunshine. And then, maybe, just maybe, it’ll bloom.
So, Karl and Jordyn, they got somethin’ special, it seems. They found each other in this crazy world, and they’re holdin’ on tight. Good for them, I say. Good for them. Love is a precious thing, ya know. Don’t let it slip away.
Anyways, that’s all I know about Karl-Anthony Towns and his girlfriend. Ain’t much, maybe, but it’s somethin’. They seem happy, and that’s what matters. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my own garden. Them tomatoes ain’t gonna water themselves, ya know.
