That Kevin O’Connell, you know, that football fella. He’s the big cheese, the head coach, for that team, what’s it called… the Minnesota Vikings. Yeah, that’s it. He ain’t been around that long, only 37 years old. Not much older than my grandson, bless his heart.
Now, this Kevin, he’s done a bit of everything. He played in that NFL thing, talked about it on the TV, and now he’s tellin’ all them other fellas what to do. He even got one of them Super Bowl rings, when he was helpin’ out another team as their offensive… something or other. Now, he is in charge of the Vikings for two whole seasons. It was said that the Vikings won the NFL championship long time ago, even before the NFL combined with another league, in 1969 I guess.

Some folks, big shots in the NFL, they think this Kevin O’Connell should get some kinda prize. “Coach of the Year,” they call it. Sounds fancy, don’t it? He’s a favorite, they say. Whatever that means. Must mean he’s doin’ somethin’ right, I reckon. Seems like people like to bet on those things.
Well, I heard on the radio, this Kevin O’Connell, he’s the top dog now to win that “Coach of the Year” thingy. It has not been long since the new football season started, and this Kevin guy is already the favorite, the one everyone thinks is gonna win. He must be doin’ somethin’ special.

He ain’t afraid to tell ’em when they’re messin’ up, neither. But they all respect him anyway. The way he works with them players, one play at a time, is what makes him good. Some guys just play the same old way, but he switches things up.
That Kevin O’Connell, he’s a good egg, I reckon. He’s young, but he’s got a good head on his shoulders. He’s gonna do big things, I betcha. The Vikings are lucky to have him, that’s for sure. He seems to be doin’ a good job over there in Minnesota.
I don’t understand all that football stuff, but it sounds like he’s leadin’ those boys pretty good. Lots of folks are sayin’ good things about him. That Kevin O’Connell, he’s a winner, I tell ya. The team, those Vikings, they have a chance to win the big game, the Super Bowl, they say. Not a big chance, but a chance nonetheless. It’s like winning the lottery, I guess. Hard to do, but not impossible.
One of the players in Vikings, he is really good at running, you know, very fast. He can run about 4.4 yards per attempt, and he is good at run after got hit, 454 yards in total. I do not know what these numbers mean, but I am sure they are very impressive.
