Alright, let’s gab about this Lyra Valkyria girl. I don’t know much about fancy wrestlin’, but I saw her on that TV thingy. You know, the one with all the jumpin’ and yellin’. Lyra Valkyria, that’s what they call her. Sounds like a name from one of them fairy tale books my grandkid reads.
First time I saw her, she was fightin’ some other gals. One was named Zelina somethin’, and another one was Ivy. They were all tangled up, pullin’ hair and whatnot. Lyra, she was tough. Didn’t back down from nobody. She got thrown around a bit, but she popped right back up like a weed in the garden. They said it was some kinda tournament, a Women’s Intercontinental Title Tournament, whatever that means. Sounded important, though, like winnin’ a blue ribbon at the county fair.
- Strong as an ox, that Lyra.
- Quick as a hiccup, too.
- Don’t mess with her, that’s for sure.
Then I saw her again, fightin’ another girl named IYO SKY. This time it was somethin’ called the Queen of the Ring Tournament. Now, that’s a name I understand. Everyone wants to be a queen, right? Even if it’s just a wrestlin’ queen. This match was fast, I tell ya. They were flippin’ and floppin’ all over the place. My head was spinnin’ just watchin’ them. They even took a break in the middle, like they needed a breather. I reckon wrestlin’ is hard work.
From what I gathered, Lyra, she’s been doin’ pretty good. They said she advanced to the next round, which means she won, I guess. She’s movin’ on up, like a squirrel climbin’ a tree. Folks seem to like her. They cheer for her real loud. Makes me think of how the roosters crow in the mornin’, all loud and proud.
Seems like Lyra’s had some big matches. One time she even wrestled Becky Lynch, a big shot, I hear. They fought for the NXT Women’s Title. Now, NXT, that’s a whole ‘nother thing I don’t understand. Too many letters, if you ask me. But it must be a big deal, cause they made a fuss about it. Don’t know who won that one, but I bet Lyra put up a good fight. She’s got that fire in her belly, you can see it.
This Lyra Valkyria, she’s somethin’ else. She reminds me of that ol’ mule we had back on the farm. Stubborn, strong, and didn’t quit for nothin’. That mule would drag a plow through the toughest dirt, and Lyra, she seems like she can handle anythin’ they throw at her in that wrestlin’ ring. She’s got grit, that’s for sure. And that’s important, no matter what you’re doin’, whether you’re wrestlin’ or plantin’ corn. You gotta have grit to get by in this world.
I don’t know what’s next for Lyra Valkyria. Maybe she’ll win that queen thing, or maybe she’ll get another title. Whatever she does, I reckon she’ll give it her all. She’s a fighter, that one. And that’s somethin’ to admire. Just like that old rooster crowin’ at sunrise, Lyra Valkyria’s makin’ her presence known in that wrestlin’ world. Good for her, I say. Good for her.
She’s tough, this Lyra girl. Like a tough ol’ hen protectin’ her chicks. And that’s somethin’ I can understand. So, I’ll keep an eye out for her on that TV thingy. Maybe I’ll even learn a thing or two about wrestlin’. Though, I still think it’s just a bunch of jumpin’ and yellin’. But hey, as long as Lyra keeps winnin’, I’ll keep watchin’. She’s got that somethin’ special, that’s for darn sure.
