Okay, so today I wanted to talk about Viktor Hovland’s parents. I got curious about this golfer, Viktor Hovland, who’s been making waves on the PGA Tour. So, I typed in “Harald Hovland” and “Galina Hovland.” I got some hits, but it was all pretty basic stuff. I did stumble on that Viktor makes around $210,000 a year as his fixed salary and his total earnings are somewhere around $10 million. And he won the Hero World Challenge recently with a prize of $1 million. Good for him. But still, nothing juicy about his parents.
Next, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole. I was reading this article about how some fan found Viktor Hovland’s supposed Tinder profile, blue tick and all. It had some nice pictures of him, but it got me thinking, if he’s on Tinder, maybe his parents are on social media or something? So I spent some time searching for them on Facebook, Instagram, and even LinkedIn.
I found a few profiles that could be them, but nothing was verified, and honestly, it felt a bit like I was invading their privacy. I mean, just because their son is a famous golfer doesn’t mean they want their lives splashed all over the internet, right?
So, after all that digging, I realized I didn’t really find out much about Harald and Galina Hovland, other than their names. It seems like they’re pretty private people, and they’ve done a good job of staying out of the spotlight. Maybe that’s for the best. I guess some things are meant to stay private.
