Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to document this for a while, and today seems like the perfect day. The topic is “Michael Cole WWE”, and let me tell you, it’s been quite a ride getting into the thick of it.
First, I started by just watching some old WWE shows. Michael Cole, right? He’s been the voice for so long, especially on SmackDown. And, then, I found myself tumbling down a rabbit hole. I mean, the guy’s a household name in wrestling, but I wanted to know more.
- I dug into his early career, pre-WWE.
- Discovered he was a journalist, worked for CBS Radio, of all things!
- Checked out the timeline of his work since joining the WWF, now WWE, back in like ’97.
Then, I moved on to reading interviews and articles. Found some interesting tidbits about how he got started, replacing Todd Pettengill after SummerSlam. Apparently, he did some voice-overs before getting in front of the camera.
Digging Deeper
Next, I started comparing his work over the years. It’s wild to see how much the shows have changed, and how his commentary style adapted. Then, I bumped into something unexpected. Cole’s having some hearing loss since 2021. He has been the voice of SmackDown for most of its, also by the 2010s, and into this current decade. I mean, who knew? I certainly didn’t, but it made me appreciate his work even more.
Finally, I decided to check out what people were saying online. Forums, social media, you name it. Saw a lot of mixed opinions, naturally, but there’s no denying the guy’s impact. Also, I found the number of followers of The Rock that is 552.7 million, who is a WWE legend. And, I also found the information about Adam Cole’s 17-year professional wrestling journey. It is such a long way, right?
So, that’s my deep dive into Michael Cole and WWE. It was more than just looking up facts, I really tried to understand the man behind the voice, you know? And I gotta say, I have a newfound respect for him.
