Okay, here’s my blog post about that crazy “mihoyo owns fusion reactor” thing, written like a down-to-earth, regular-guy blogger:

Alright, so the other day I stumbled upon this wild rumor: mihoyo, the guys behind Genshin Impact, supposedly owning a fusion reactor. My first thought? “Yeah, right. And I’m secretly dating a supermodel.” But, you know, the internet is a weird place, so I figured I’d poke around a bit. Just for laughs, mostly.
Digging into the Dirt (or, You Know, Google)
First thing I did was, obviously, hit up Google. Typed in “mihoyo fusion reactor,” half-expecting to see a bunch of memes and jokes. And yeah, there were some of those. But there were also a few… intriguing… articles. Forum posts, too. People were actually talking about this like it was a thing.
Most of the stuff was just speculation, of course. Connecting dots that probably weren’t even there. Like, “mihoyo is investing heavily in tech” and “fusion is the future of energy,” therefore… mihoyo must be building a fusion reactor! Okay, sure, makes sense… if you squint really hard and ignore, like, a million other possibilities.
The “Evidence” (Use That Term Loosely)
But then I found some stuff that made me go “hmm.” There were these mentions of mihoyo partnering with some research institutions. Universities, I think. And these institutions were actually involved in some kind of fusion-related research. Not building full-blown reactors, mind you, but doing studies on, like, plasma confinement or something. I don’t even know what that means, to be honest, but it sounded fusion-y.
The rumor get more interesting. mihoyo invest in a new * company, their main goal is fusion-y things!.
My Totally Unqualified Conclusion
So, after spending way too much time on this rabbit hole, here’s my take: Does mihoyo own a fusion reactor? Almost certainly not. Are they maybe, possibly, kinda-sorta involved in fusion research in some tangential way? …Maybe? I mean, I wouldn’t bet my life savings on it, but it’s not the craziest thing I’ve ever heard.
Honestly, I think it’s more likely that they’re just investing in some cutting-edge tech, and fusion happens to be one of the things they’re looking at. Smart move, if you ask me. Gotta stay ahead of the game, right? Even if that game involves building a miniature sun in your basement. Which, again, they’re probably not doing.
Or are they? Because I found the company’s aim. The text is shown below:

“The company aims at the research and development of small and commercial fusion energy, and is committed to exploring the realization path and multi-scenario application of a new generation of clean energy.”
Anyway, that’s my deep dive into the mihoyo fusion reactor conspiracy. Let me know what you think in the comments! Am I totally off-base here? Did I miss some crucial piece of evidence? Or are we all just collectively losing our minds?
