Alright, so, let’s talk about this “Colleagues – Part 2” thing. I gotta say, this one had me running around like a headless chicken for a bit. It all started after I finished up that first “Colleagues” quest. I was feeling pretty good, thinking I had this whole thing figured out. Boy, was I wrong.
So, the Therapist, she’s the one who gave me this mission, she sends me back to Shoreline. Now, I’ve been to Shoreline a bunch of times, but this time felt different. I had to find some stuff for her, and it wasn’t exactly a walk in the park. The quest description, was kinda vague, but I figured I’d manage. I started off by, you know, trying to play it cool. I thought I’d just sneak around, avoid trouble, and get what I needed. I even took a little break, went AFK for like 25 minutes. Made myself a coffee, took a breather. But let me tell you, when I came back, things got real, fast.
There’s this one part where you gotta pick up Sanitar’s CMS kit, right? It’s in this pier house. Well, I went in there, tried to grab the kit, and my game started acting all weird. It was like it was lagging or something. I kept doing the pick-up animation, but nothing happened. It was frustrating, to say the least. I tried it a couple of times, same result. It felt like the game was messing with me.
- First, I tried to just walk through it, thinking maybe I needed full stamina or something.
- Then, I thought maybe it was a bug. So, I restarted the game, went back in, same issue.
- Finally, I decided to just go for it. I ran in, guns blazing, and somehow, it worked. I grabbed the kit and got out of there as fast as I could.
Honestly, I don’t even know if that’s how you’re supposed to do it. I mean, there are other quests, like “Colleagues 3” and “Sadist”, maybe those are easier? Who knows. But, I got it done, and that’s what matters.
I saw some folks online talking about having similar problems. Someone even made a tutorial on Twitch for it. Seems like a lot of people were having a tough time with this one. Anyway, I eventually managed to grab it and get out of there. It was a mess, but hey, I got it done.
This whole thing just reminded me that sometimes, you just gotta push through, even when things get tough. And sometimes, the most obvious way isn’t the right way. You gotta be flexible, you know?
Moral of the story?
Don’t give up, even when the game throws you a curveball. And maybe, just maybe, take a break once in a while. You never know when you might need that coffee.
