My Clash Trophy Push Session Today
Alright, so I logged into Clash of Clans earlier today, figured I’d try and gain some trophies. Been hovering around the same league for a bit, wanted to make a push.

First things first, I checked my army. Had my usual farming army cooked, so I quickly switched to my trophy pushing setup. It takes a bit longer to cook, but you need the good stuff for serious attacks, right? Made sure my spells were ready – couple of rage, freeze, the usual suspects. Heroes were awake, thank goodness. Nothing worse than waiting for heroes when you wanna attack.
Finding the Right Base
Then came the fun part, hitting that big ‘Attack!’ button. Started searching. You know how it goes, clicking ‘Next’ like a hundred times.
- Skipped a few low trophy offers. No point risking troops for like 5 trophies.
- Saw some really tough-looking bases. Maxed defenses everywhere, weird layouts. Nope, next.
- Looked for something offering at least 25-30 trophies, with a layout I felt comfortable hitting.
Finally, after maybe 5 minutes of searching, found a decent target. Town Hall 14, offered about 28 trophies. The layout wasn’t too crazy, looked like I could path troops in reasonably well.
Executing the Attack Plan
Okay, time to go. I started the attack from the bottom corner, around 5 o’clock. Dropped a couple sneaky goblins first to test for traps and maybe grab an outside collector. Then, started the funnel. Used my King on one side and some wizards, and the Queen walk on the other side to clear buildings.
The Queen walk went okay initially. She took out a few key defenses. But then she kinda wandered off towards the side, not quite where I wanted her. Typical Queen AI, right? Had to use a rage spell on her and the healers earlier than planned just to keep her alive when she locked onto their Clan Castle troops.
The Main Push
Once the funnel was sort of set, I sent in the main force. Dropped my Log Launcher aimed towards the Town Hall, followed by Yetis, bowlers, and the Grand Warden. Hit the Warden’s ability just as the Log Launcher broke open near the core and my troops were taking heavy fire from an Inferno Tower and the enemy Archer Queen.

Used my freeze spells strategically. One on a Scattershot that was wrecking my bowlers, another on the single-target Inferno that locked onto a Yeti. It got pretty hectic in the core. Lots of explosions, spells flashing. Lost my Warden, Queen’s ability was forced.
The Result and Wrap-up
In the end, managed to clear the Town Hall, which was the main goal. Got that second star. My remaining troops fizzled out trying to get through the backside defenses. So, it ended up being a 68% two-star.
Not perfect, but definitely not bad. Bagged 18 trophies from that attack. Could have been better, maybe if the Queen hadn’t gone sightseeing. But hey, positive trophies are positive trophies. Cleaned up, requested troops for the Clan Castle, and started cooking the next army. Onwards and upwards, hopefully the next one’s a three-star!
