Okay, so I saw this thing online about Nyckoles Harbor and his 40-yard dash time, and I got curious. I mean, the dude’s a beast, right? A five-star football recruit, also a track star… I had to see what all the fuss was about.

My Little Experiment
First, I watched some videos. Just to get a feel for his running style, you know? He’s got this insane stride length, just eats up the ground. It’s crazy to watch.
Then I did some digging on the web about it, finding something about 40-yard.
Then, I tried to find some official times. This was harder than I thought! There’s a lot of hype and speculation, but not a ton of concrete, verified numbers floating around. I saw some mentions of him running in the 4.3 range, maybe even faster. Seems believable, given what I’d seen.
Putting It to the (Amateur) Test
Now, I’m no track coach, and I definitely don’t have access to fancy timing equipment. But I do have a stopwatch and a somewhat-measured 40-yard stretch in my local park. So, I decided to do a little… let’s call it “unscientific” testing.
I warmed up (very important, don’t want to pull a hammy!), and then I tried to mimic Harbor’s explosive start. Key word: tried. I’m pretty sure I looked like a baby giraffe learning to walk. Definitely not as graceful as him.
- Attempt 1: Felt slow. Way slower than 4.3, that’s for sure.
- Attempt 2: A little better. Still felt like I was running in slow motion.
- Attempt 3: I think I used every tip on the web,I focused on keeping my strides long and powerful. Felt… okay. Still nowhere near Nyckoles Harbor speed.
The (Obvious) Conclusion
My “experiment” confirmed what I already knew: Nyckoles Harbor is a freak of nature, and I am… not. His 40-yard dash time, whatever it officially is, is clearly something special. It’s a combination of raw talent, insane genetics, and probably years of dedicated training. I’ll stick to watching him from the sidelines (or, you know, on YouTube).
I will keep to see his new 40 time on the internet!
