Alright, so lemme tell you about my recent dive into the R6 Marketplace. I was itching to sell some of my old skins and finally decided to give it a shot.

First things first, I had to activate the damn thing. Went to the Ubisoft site, logged in, and found the section for the Marketplace. Clicked the button, went through the usual “are you sure?” confirmations. Pretty straightforward, nothing crazy there.
Next up, browsing the Marketplace itself. It’s… functional. Not the prettiest UI, but it gets the job done. You can search for specific items, filter by rarity, operator, and all that jazz. I spent a good half hour just poking around to get a feel for the prices.
Okay, time to list my stuff. I had a few legendary skins I wasn’t using anymore, figured those would be the best to start with. Clicked on “Sell,” chose the skin, and then the fun began: pricing. This is where it gets tricky. You don’t want to overprice and have it sit there forever, but you also don’t want to undersell and lose out on potential credits.
I did some research. Looked at what similar skins were going for, considered the demand (some operators are way more popular than others), and then settled on a price that felt reasonable. It’s a gamble, really. You’re just guessing what someone else is willing to pay.
I posted the listings and then… waited. And waited. And waited. It took a couple of days for the first skin to sell. I was starting to get a little worried, thinking I’d priced everything too high. But then, bam! A notification popped up: “Your item has been sold!”
The Rainbow Six credits hit my account almost immediately. No problems there. Pretty smooth transaction, actually.
I kept the other listings up, and slowly but surely, they started to sell as well. It wasn’t a flood of cash, but it was a decent chunk of credits that I could use to buy new operators or skins. Pretty cool.
Important note: There’s a transaction fee, so you don’t get the full amount you listed the item for. Keep that in mind when you’re pricing things. I think it’s like 10% or something, but double-check that yourself.

Couple of tips I learned along the way:
- Be patient. Stuff doesn’t sell instantly. It can take days, even weeks, for something to move.
- Adjust prices. If something isn’t selling after a while, lower the price a bit. See if that helps.
- Check the competition. Keep an eye on what other people are listing similar items for.
Overall, my experience with the R6 Marketplace was pretty positive. It’s not perfect, but it’s a decent way to get rid of old skins and earn some credits. Would I use it again? Absolutely. Just gotta be smart about pricing and patient about selling.
