Okay, so today I decided to do something a little different and fun with my son, inspired by that “Ryan Clark and son” thing I saw floating around. I figured, why not capture some cool moments and try to recreate some of those poses and activities?

Getting Started
First, I gathered my son. That sounds funny, but you know, wrangling kids can be a task in itself. We talked about the idea, showed him a few pictures for inspiration (nothing specific, just the general vibe), and he was totally game. He’s always up for an adventure.
The Fun Begins
- We headed outdoors. The weather was perfect, sunny with a slight breeze. It made everything seem more vibrant.
- I started by taking some candid shots. You know, just him being him. Running around, exploring, that sort of thing. These often turn out to be the best, because they’re so natural.
- Then, we tried to mimic some of those classic father-son poses. You know, the ones where the dad is lifting the kid, or they’re both looking off into the distance, or sharing a high-five. We goofed around a lot during this part, lots of laughs.
- We also did some action shots. My son loves to play catch, so we got some pictures of him throwing and catching a ball. I even got down on the ground to get some low-angle shots, which made him look like a superhero.
Capturing the Moments
I used my phone, nothing fancy. The key, I’ve found, is just to take a LOT of pictures. You’re bound to get a few good ones out of the bunch. I also made sure to capture a mix of close-ups and wider shots, to get a variety of perspectives.
The Results
Honestly, the pictures turned out great! Not perfect, of course, but they capture the fun we had, and that’s what matters. We ended the session with making some silly faces. We both were laughing so *’s all about those real moments, you know? It wasn’t about perfectly recreating anything, but about spending quality time together and making memories. And we definitely did that.
