Today I was surfing the internet and stumbled upon a golfer named Sahith Theegala. I was curious, so I started digging into who this guy is.
First thing I did was search for his name. Turns out, he’s a pro golfer of Indian origin, but he’s American. He’s been playing professionally since 2020 and is now on the PGA Tour. That’s pretty cool.
Then I was like, “Who are his parents?” So, I searched for that too. Found out his dad’s name is Muralidhar Theegala and his mom’s name is Karuna Theegala.
The Process

- Found out he’s an American golfer with Indian roots.
- Dug deeper to learn about his parents, Muralidhar and Karuna.
- Realized he’s only 23, which is quite young for a pro golfer on the PGA Tour.
It’s always interesting to learn about the background of these athletes. Makes you appreciate their journey even more. That’s all I found out for today, but it was a good little internet adventure!
